Abstract depth visualization of concealed order flow
Built for Robinhood Chain

Trade size in tokenized
equities without telling
the whole chain.

Public orderbooks broadcast intent. On a chain where equities settle in the open, a 10,000-share order is a signal anyone can trade against. Dark Pool is a non-displayed venue: orders stay sealed until they cross, size prints late, and settlement is still verifiable on-chain.

The leakage problem

Tokenized equities inherit the transparency of a blockchain — and the predators of an open market.

Sealed order flow behind frosted panels
lit tape · intent exposed

Pre-trade broadcast

A resting limit order on a lit AMM or CLOB reveals price, size and direction before it ever executes.

Mempool front-running

Searchers see the transaction before inclusion and position ahead of it, taxing every large fill.

Strategy fingerprinting

Wallet history turns a fund's accumulation pattern into a public, permanently indexed dataset.

Market impact

Working a block through a thin lit book walks the price against you — the cost compounds with size.

Mechanism

step 1

Seal

The order is encrypted client-side. Only a commitment hash reaches the chain — price, size and side stay off the public record.

commit(side, qty, px, salt)
step 2

Cross

A periodic sealed auction matches contra interest at the midpoint of the reference NBBO. No queue to snipe, no price to react to.

match @ mid(NBBO)
step 3

Settle

Matched legs settle atomically in tokenized shares and USDC. The tape publishes the print; size is delayed and aggregated.

Private, not opaque

Privacy at the venue layer does not mean invisibility to regulators. Every participant is admitted through the chain's existing eligibility checks, and every match produces a proof that an auditor with the viewing key can verify — without that record being public.

  • Permissioned participation via on-chain eligibility attestation
  • Selective disclosure: viewing keys for auditors and counterparties
  • Proof of solvency and proof of correct matching per auction
  • Post-trade tape publication meeting reporting expectations
